new babies and old friends

okay before you yell at me, i know i've been absent. i didn't forget about you, i just... forgotihadablogforyou. DON'T THROW ANYTHING AT ME, I'M SORRY!! ...kay. i'm good. so anyways. we took a trip to kansas, even though i know you know that, the people reading this probably don't. so i'm gonna tell you about it anyways. we got to meet the new baby. she's absolutely gorgeous. i totally hope my own babies are as pretty as terry and elysian. i'm so jealous. i got to hold her (i held her most of the time) and i felt more like a mommy than an auntie because i was like, a hawk. every small sound she made i was right on top of it. we went to the zoo and the kids (terry, michael, brandi and rachell... notice how two are adults, one is a teenager, and only one is actually a toddler) played on the kiddie toys. anyways, point blank is, we all had a great time. i have pictures to prove it.

does this girl look familiar? well, she should! that's RENA! you know, best friend ever, haven't seen her in like, ten years? yes, the very same rena that lived right down the street. she came over on saturday and we had a pretty great time. we mostly just sat on the couch... but we shared memories, we talked about what we've been up to, and we joked around. she stayed for dinner too, and in the kitchen uncle was behind her, and she stepped back and said "ladies first". it was pretty funny. we're definitely going to have to get together again sometime. once we get our new house she gets to stay for the weekend, so yay us! can't wait for that. maybe i'll get sandra to stay the night with her. she's been wanting to meet her, lol. anyways, we had a good time. we talked about you. nothing bad, i swear, or the lord should send a lightning bolt upon me... -steps back- i'm kidding. HEY! YOU CAN'T THROW THE BIBLE! THAT'S UNHOLY! ...i might have to go to the hospital for that thunk, that thing weighs a hundred pounds... anyways. i told you everything. so goodnight and i love you.
